PHYS 1901: September 6 - December 8, 2017

Welcome to your first course in astronomy! We hope that you have an enjoyable fall session studying at Carleton.

This course is aimed at general interest students who have had a minimal exposure to science or mathematics. We will focus on the solar system and planetary phenomena.

PHYS 1901 will mostly rely on descriptive explanations employing diagrams and pictures to help build a heuristic understanding of the cosmos.
